“I love recreating in minute detail the scene I have chosen to paint, to bring it to life by an abundance of visual information which allows the viewer to evoke all the textures through his eyes - how the objects would feel, smell or taste in real life. If one looks at a painting of mine and can imagine the smoothness of the glass, the cold of the silverplate or the aroma of the chocolate, I consider it a success.”
