Russel Snyder

(1907-1994) Art education at Carnegie Institute of Technology. Served in Army Air Force WWII and sketched his way through three yrs. of service. In the early 60's he became a juried member of Associated Artists of Pittsburgh and the Watercolor Society. Receiving two merits awards from the Watercolor Society.

As the art world moved into large abstract art, he went back to small watercolors, pen and ink drawings and collages for his own pleasure.
